KUALA LUMPUR, 19 APRIL 2010 – MPH Bookstores has opened its 27^th outlet in Crowne Plaza Mutiara. Located in the heart of the city, this bookstore is set to cater to the reading needs of those in the city and primarily to the office workers within the vicinity.

MPH Bookstores recently celebrated World Book Day with a host of events held together with The Embassy of Spain, Instituto Cervantes & Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. One of the event was a drawing competition themed The Value of Cultural Diversity. It was tough decision for the judges in selecting the winners and the prize giving ceremony was held last Sunday at MPH 1Utama.

Come and celebrate World Book Day by watching 2 short film screenings of Baby The Rain Will Fall and The Invigilator directed by Manesh Nesaratnam.

The two short films to be screened are among his recent works and he will also be speaking about ‘Your Grandfather’s Road’, a feature film project that crowd-sources its writing and pre-production processes like it has never been done before.
