For action adventure, David Baldacci Deliver Us From Evil promises to deliver that and more. Evan Waller looks like a successful businessman and philantrophist, but in reality is growing his wealth through human trafficking of kidnapped virgin teenagers. He soon grows bored of this business and has his sight turn to trading enriched uranium. His dealings is noticed by a shadowy international organisation and an agent is sent to follow his trail.
An enjoyable read of non-fiction comes in the form of Shoptimism: A Journey into the Heart and Mind of the American Consumer by Lee Eisenberg. To buy or not to buy? That is not the only question motivating America’s therapeutic foray into retail consumption. What Americans buy does affect the rest of the world; as examined by Eisenberg in two sections: Sell Side and Buy Side. It is an entertainingly easy read that may alter the way you buy next time.
